All school parents are members of the St. Martin’s Home and School Association (HSA). The HSA provides a vital forum for exchange of information between parents and the school staff. It also assists the school financially through various fund-raising activities. The HSA promotes a clearer understanding of the mutual educational responsibilities that parents share with the school. Officers are elected annually from among parents. The HSA President attends School Board meetings to report on the activities of the HSA and to bring parent concerns to the Board.
HSA officers meet monthly. School-wide HSA meetings are conducted periodically throughout the year. An agenda is published prior to each meeting. All parents are urged to attend. Representatives of the School Board and St. Martin’s School administration are on hand at each meeting to discuss school policy and programs.
