Message from the Principal

SISTER SHARON'S VISION

In a world where uncertainty and instability are manifested, my main mission is to instill HOPE in my students. Empowering our children to reach their full potential in a loving and nurturing environment is imperative. I believe that collaboration, critical and creative thinking, and technological integration are some of the essential elements that students need today to live and work successfully in the 21st Century. I firmly believe that on-going Professional Development for all teachers is essential as we strive to meet the needs of our students in the Digital Age.

Principal

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of St. Martin’s School is to educate children in a Christ-Centered environment. Encouraging the spiritual, intellectual, and social growth of our students as well as their emotional and physical development in an atmosphere of mutual respect is of paramount importance to our school community. We seek to integrate core, traditional and emerging skills that cultivate and complement the students’ God-given talents. At the same time we will challenge each child to become life-long learners by meeting and exceeding all expectations.

We strongly endorse the partnership of the school and the family in fostering Christian values and instilling an understanding of Catholic Doctrine and Traditions in the hearts of our students. We recognize the mutual role that teachers and parents have in sowing and reinforcing the Gospel message to love and serve others.

Through our students’ participation in the Eucharist, the foundation of our Faith, varied Para-Liturgical Celebrations, and Christian Service, the Faculty of St. Martin’s endeavors to empower the students to provide moral and global leadership now and tomorrow.

VISION

St. Martin’s School is a student-centered learning community committed to academic excellence and the development of strong characters embedded in the Gospel Values and Catholic Tradition. By diversifying the curriculum to encompass authentic learning experiences, we will continue to strive to meet the needs and learning styles of children from varied backgrounds and cultural experiences.

Technology Literacy, 21st Century Teaching/Learning Skills, and Core Academic Content at advanced levels will empower the students to become agile players in their own educational experiences now and in the future.
