Homeroom Parent
(All-School Year Round)
The job of homeroom parent is to coordinate specific
assignments undertaken by the class parents during the school year. Ensure
parents are committed to assist with class events and be available to give
specific guidance. Maintain contact with the teacher in the event unidentified
needs arise during the school year. Volunteers needed: 2 parents.

Halloween Party (During Halloween)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed
to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. A father is needed to
help the boys with costumes. Volunteers needed: 6 parents.

Christmas Party (During
Christmas)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed
to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Volunteers needed: 2-4
parents.

Valentine’s Party (During
Valentine)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed
to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Parents can also
assist children with Valentines. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.

Auction Basket (Beginning January, for March Dance Auction)
A class parent will coordinate and put together a class
basket for the spring auction in March. Determine theme and coordinate class
parents to donate items or money. Contact auction committee with the theme of
the basket. Volunteers needed: 2-5 parents.

Bake Sale
for Angel Fund (March 11, 2009)
Homeroom parent reminds the class parents to provide baked
goods for the monthly sale. Parents are needed to help sell baked goods during
lunch hour. Proceeds are used to benefit families in the school community.
Volunteers needed: 2 parents.

First Reconciliation (February 10, 2009)
Plan and coordinate a celebration after the students receive
their first reconciliation. Volunteers needed: 4-6 parents.
