Homeroom Parent (All-School Year Round)

The job of homeroom parent is to coordinate specific assignments undertaken by the class parents during the school year. Ensure parents are committed to assist with class events and be available to give specific guidance. Maintain contact with the teacher in the event unidentified needs arise during the school year. Volunteers needed: 2 parents.

Current Volunteers: TBD --- we are still in need of 2 volunteers for this position

 

Halloween Party (During Halloween)

Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. A father is needed to help the boys with costumes. Volunteers needed: 2-6 parents.

Pumpkin Carving Day (October)

Parents provide donuts, apple cider, napkins and cups. Assistance is also needed during the carving event. Volunteers needed: 2-3 parents.

Christmas Party (During Christmas)

Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Volunteers needed: 4 parents.

Valentine’s Party (During Valentine)

Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Parents can also assist children with Valentines. Volunteers needed: 4 parents.

Auction Basket (Beginning January, for March Dance Auction)

A class parent will coordinate and put together a class basket for the spring auction in March. Determine theme and coordinate class parents to donate items or money. Contact auction committee with the theme of the basket. Volunteers needed: 2-5 parents.

Bake Sale for Angel Fund (February 21)

Homeroom parent reminds the class parents to provide baked goods for the monthly sale. Parents are needed to help sell baked goods during lunch hour. Proceeds are used to benefit families in the school community. Volunteers needed: 2 parents. Current Volunteers: Gigi McClure and Marty Manfredi

 

Grandparent’s Day (May 2 and Mass is at 10:00 in the morning)

Provide planning, food, set-up and clean up for Grandparent’s Day. Volunteers needed: 10-20 parents.

Current Volunteers: Debbie Manfredi, Lindsay Day, and Miriam Dilone. Other volunteers can come from other class.

 

Maryland Day (TBD)

Parents provide orange soda, popcorn, licorice, cups and napkins. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.
