Homeroom Parent
(All-School Year Round)
The job of homeroom parent is to coordinate specific assignments undertaken by the class parents
during the school year, ensure parents are committed to assist with class events, be available to give
specific guidance and maintain contact with the teacher in the event previously unidentified needs arise
during the school year. Volunteers needed: 1-2 parents.

Halloween Party (October 31, 2012)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up.
Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.

Christmas Party (December 2012)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up.
Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.

Valentine’s Party (February 2013)
Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up.
Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.

Auction Basket (Beginning January, for Dance Auction on 03/16/12)
A class parent will coordinate and put together a class basket for the spring auction in March.
Determine theme and coordinate class parents to donate items or money. Contact auction committee with
the theme of the basket. Volunteers needed: 2 parents.

Bake Sale
for Angel Fund (December 2012)
Homeroom parent reminds the class parents to provide baked goods for the monthly sale and recruits
2 volunteers from the class to help sell baked goods during lunch hour. Proceeds are used to benefit
families in the school community. Volunteers needed: 2 parents.

Breakfast with Santa (December 1, 2012 at 6.30pm)
Plan and coordinate a family event which includes breakfast, a visit from Santa and a shopping opportunity
for the children. Volunteers needed: 4-6 parents.

Parent volunteers from other class are welcome.
