Homeroom Teacher:  Miss Julie Stinger ()   Activity/Description/Date/Volunteers Homeroom Parent (All School-Year Round) The job of homeroom parent is to coordinate specific assignments undertaken by the class parents during the school year, ensure parents are committed to assist with class events, be available to give specific guidance and maintain contact with the teacher in the event previously unidentified needs arise during the school year. Volunteers needed: 1-2 parents. Current Volunteers: Marie Louis, Erika Diaz   Halloween Party (October 31, 2012) Parents provide food and party supplies. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents. Current Volunteers: Marta De Leon, Winifred Smith   Christmas Party (December 2012) Parents provide food and party supplies. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents. Current Volunteers: Elena Antezana, Stephanie Mballa, Theresa Arnone, Rebecca Casseus   Valentine’s Party (February 2013) Parents provide food and party supplies. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents. Current Volunteers: Erika Diaz, Marta De Leon   Auction Basket (Beginning January, for Dance Auction on 03/16/13) A class parent will coordinate and put together a class basket for the spring auction in March. Determine theme and coordinate class parents to donate items or money. Contact auction committee with the theme of the basket. Volunteers needed: 2 parents. Current Volunteers: Winifred Smith, Jheni Libongco   Bake Sale for Angel Fund (November 2012) Homeroom parent reminds the class parents to provide baked goods for the monthly sale and recruits 2 volunteers from the class to help sell baked goods during lunch hour. Proceeds are used to benefit families in the school community. Volunteers needed: 2 parents. Current Volunteers: Bunmi Martins   Teacher Appreciation Lunch (Catholic Schools' last day: February 1, 2013) Coordinate a meal (setup, serve and cleanup) during Catholic Schools Week to show the teachers our appreciation for their support. Informative documentation with tips and ideas is available in the school office. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents.
