Homeroom Teacher:  Teacher Assistant:   Activity/Description/Date/Volunteers Homeroom Parent (All-School Year Round) The job of homeroom parent is to coordinate specific assignments undertaken by the class parents during the school year, ensure parents are committed to assist with class events and be available to give specific guidance. Maintain contact with the teacher in the event unidentified needs arise during the school year. Volunteers needed: 2 parents. Current Volunteers: Carla Rook   Early Bird Pre-K (All School-Year Round) Receive and supervise the Pre-K children from 7:30 AM (you arrive at 7:25) until the teachers take them to their classroom at 7:55 AM. Speak with Mrs. Mohrbacher to volunteer for this position. Volunteers needed: 2 parents per morning. Current Volunteers: NO CURRENT VOLUNTEER   Halloween Party (October 31, 2011) Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. A father is needed to help the boys with costumes. Volunteers needed: 4-6 parents. Current Volunteers: Jennifer del Valle, Paul Ly, Lisa Reid, Carla Rook, and Nikki Vazquez   Christmas Party (December 2011) Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents. Current Volunteers: Hector Colon, Giovanna Raffo, Lisa Reid, and Nikki Vazquez   Valentine’s Party (February 2012) Parents provide food and party supplies. Parents are needed to help during the party as well as set up and clean up. Parents can also assist children with Valentines. Volunteers needed: 2-4 parents. Current Volunteers: Hector Colon, Raquel Ly, Lisa Reid, and Nikki Vazquez   Auction Basket (Beginning January, for March Dance Auction on 03/17/12) A class parent will coordinate and put together a class basket for the Spring auction in March. Determine theme and coordinate class parents to donate items or money. Contact auction committee with the theme of the basket. Volunteers needed: 2 parents. Current Volunteers: Carla Rook [need one more parent volunteers, please contact your Homeroom Parent to help out]   Bake Sale for Angel Fund (June 2012) Homeroom parent reminds the class parents to provide baked goods for the monthly sale. Parents are needed to help sell baked goods during lunch hour. Proceeds are used to benefit families in the school community. Volunteers needed: 3 parents.
