At St. Martin of Tours Catholic School, we believe every child deserves access to a high-quality, faith-based education. In partnership with the Archdiocese of Washington, we offer multiple resources to make tuition more affordable for our families, and help families manage costs and plan confidently. Opportunities available within ADW
Need-based Tuition Assistance
We encourage all families in need of financial support to apply for assistance through TADS, the platform used by both the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) and St. Martin of Tours Parish.

First
Apply in October through the ADW Tuition Assistance Program

Deadline for current families will be in early December.

Deadline for new families will be in February.
Please note: Financial aid does not cover the following fees: registration, books, lunch or drinks.

Second
Decisions will be made, for both current and new families, by the end of April.

Finally
SMS will notify selected families in May.

Supporting Parishioner Tuition Subsidy
Catholic families registered at a parish within the Archdiocese of Washington may be eligible for the Active Parishioner Grant—a $1,000 tuition reduction per student (Kindergarten–8th Grade). This brings the annual tuition to $9,600 per student.
To qualify, families must submit a Pastoral Recommendation Form verifying:

Active parish registration

Regular Mass attendance

Ongoing offertory support

Participation in parish life
If you believe you are eligible and would like to apply please complete the Pastoral Recommendation Form/ Formulario de Recomendación Pastoral and return to the office.
Alternative Options
BOOS Scholarship Program
The Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today (BOOST) Program offers scholarships to help income-eligible students attend participating nonpublic schools like St. Martin of Tours.Students who qualify for the free or reduced–price lunch program may be eligible to receive a BOOST award. Scholarships are granted based on household income, with priority given to families with the greatest financial need.

529 Savings Plans for K-12 Tuition
As part of the federal tax reform passed in December 2017, families can now use their 529 college savings plans to help pay for K–12 tuition at public, private, or religious schools.
